This Sakai Takumi Ajimasa Yanagiba is forged from Yasuki Blue Steel #2 (Aogami #2), a high-performance Japanese carbon steel enhanced with chromium and tungsten for excellent hardness, edge retention, and durability. It is a right-handed single-bevel knife designed for professional use.
The handle is made from Magnolia wood with a Buffalo horn bolster, providing durability and traditional Japanese balance. The blade features a refined Hongasumi finish for an authentic appearance.
