The ATOMA Diamond Plate ATM Series is a high-precision Japanese diamond sharpening plate designed for flattening, repairing, and sharpening extremely hard materials.
Unlike traditional whetstones, ATOMA uses industrial diamond particles bonded to a rigid metal plate, allowing fast and aggressive material removal with exceptional durability and flatness retention.
It is widely used not only for knife sharpening, but also for flattening whetstones, shaping blades, and working with high-hardness steels such as VG-10, R2, and SG2.
Because of its high efficiency, it requires no soaking and can be used immediately with water applied to the surface.
The system comes with a stable base for secure sharpening and control during use.
