Kenkikusui Blue Steel #1 Bonsai Scissors – Ohkubo Style
These Kenkikusui Ohkubo Style Bonsai Scissors are traditional Japanese bonsai tools made from Yasuki Blue Steel #1 (Aogami #1), one of the highest grades of traditional Japanese carbon steel.
These scissors are designed for precise bonsai work such as pruning branches, shoots, and other detailed plant maintenance. The Ohkubo-style design provides good control and handling for careful bonsai cultivation.
Blue Steel #1 offers excellent sharpness and edge retention, while maintaining the characteristic cutting performance of traditional Japanese carbon steel. As with other carbon steel tools, proper care and drying after use are recommended to help prevent rust.
